Story ideas
54 fleshed-out story ideas plus 215 shorter prompts, surfaced from exploratory queries against the live database. Every fleshed-out idea has a question, a short summary of what the data shows, and a full data-analysis section with tables and charts. The first five also include long-form briefings: extended context, supporting findings, and concrete reporting directions for a journalist who'd pick the story up.
Style target: 538 / The Economist / SF Education Substack. Bias is toward falsifiable claims and against rhetorical takes; see methodology for how the data is sourced.
