- Post-election-only study (midterm year; election Nov. 3). Field dates are the earliest and latest interview dates implied by VCF1015/VCF1016 (days before/after the election); those variables code 99 as NA, so interviews 99+ days after the election would be missed. 1970 used two questionnaire forms. ANES's form weights VCF0010z/VCF0011z give 145 dual-form cases weight 0.6 versus 1.2 for single-form cases; this archive uses VCF0009z (all 1) for every item, so form-specific 1970 items can differ slightly from ANES-weighted figures.
