How the school describes itself

Only parents /guardians of students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1, and 2 are welcome to accompany their child. To help ensure an organized event, only one parent or guardian per student may attend. The plant sale will take place in the school gym, and students will have the opportunity to purchase plants. To support your child’s participation, please send an envelope on the day of the sale labeled with your child’s name, class, and the amount of money enclosed. Tank you for your support and cooperation. We look forward to a successful and enjoyable event for our students! On Wednesday, April 29, connectivity issues across New York State prevented many schools from completing Grades 3 – 8 State Mathematics exams as scheduled. The State has yet to identify the cause of the issue. Thankfully, our PS 3 students were able to get online successfully and complete their assigned tests. Not knowing if all issues have been resolved and not wanting to add any unnecessary stress on our 4th graders, we are rescheduling 4th Grades State Math exams to Wednesday, May 6th and Thursday, May 7th. Due to these new testing dates, 4th grade’s State Math make ups will now shift to Friday, May 8th and Monday, May 11th.
